New Illustrated National Parks Book

The Organic Act of 1916 created the National Park Service to “conserve the scenery and the national and historic objects and wildlife therein.” The United States now has 59 protected areas known as national parks in twenty-seven states and the territories of American Samoa and the US Virgin Islands.

To commemorate this milestone, Joel Anderson and Nathan Anderson have compiled 59 Illustrated National Parks, a book that includes illustrations of 71 full color posters by the Anderson Design Group. The book also includes beautiful wildlife and scenery, travel tips, and fun facts of each park.

The full-page poster art is reminiscent of classic brochure art and the hardcover book will look great on your coffee table. Further, if you like the art in this book, you can order 18” x 24” ready-to-frame prints.

This book would make a fine gift for those who appreciate the outdoors and those who visit America’s national parks. You can even use it to inspire yourself to get out more. Check off the parks you’ve visited and use the book to start planning your next vacation!
