Rick Frazier of Texas and Donald C. Martin with the pending #4 SCI muzzleloader tule elkThis is a 6-day fully guided 1×1 hunt for one hunter for one tule elk bull on the Jim Bardin Ranch in Monterey County, CA with guide/outfitter Donald C. Martin and ranch owner Bob Swanson. This hunt is an excellent opportunity to harvest a trophy class tule elk on 8,000 private acres only minutes away from Monterey. Past hunts have been 100% opportunity for rifle and muzzleloader hunters.Method of harvest is hunter’s choice, though rifle  is recommended. Only two bull tags are issued to the ranch through California Fish and Wildlife’s Private Land Management program each year. Hunting pressure on the ranch is very light and bulls are allowed to grow to their true trophy potential. For out-of-state hunters, this hunt includes airport pickup and drop-off at Monterey Peninsula  Airport. CA hunters will be provided with driving directions to the ranch. Not included are: commercial airfare, CA hunting license, commercial meat processing, taxidermy, shipping fees for meat/trophies, and gratuities.

Mark Shears of Pennsylvania harvested this magnificent 8x6 tule elk with Donald C. Martin and Bob Swanson on the Jim Bardin Ranch
