LOWA Boots Innox GTX Mid TF Boot Review

tac·ti·cal – showing adroit planning; aiming at an end beyond the immediate action.

Hunting involves planning and focusing on the end goal. A good portion of my planning is determining the right gear on the right day. On run-and-gun days, the Innox GTX Mid TF’s are a tactical decision that is always the right decision. These light, quick, three-quarter boots are exactly the ticket to moving fast and chasing prey.

LOWA has been making great boots for over 90 years for climbers, mountaineers, hikers and enthusiasts. Hunters are starting to take notice of these great boots and sheep hunters have been the first to step up and seriously test out LOWA boots on hunts all over the world.

The Innox GTX Mid TF are lightweight, waterproof boots that offer the support and breathability for spring and early fall hunts. I am impressed with the speed and flex of these boots as well as the traction with the NXT sole.

These are great boots for afternoon run-and-gun turkey hunts. For archery hunting these will be my go-to boots for this season’s early archery mule deer season.   On an average day of mule deer hunting, I log about 4 to 5 miles on foot, glassing from high corners. The weather is typically hot and the ground is dry and dusty. Light breathable boots are a tactical decision when hunting mule deer where I hunt and the Innox GTX Mid TF boots fit the bill perfectly.
