Cabassa Safaris is based in Hoopstad, Free State Province in South Africa, adjacent to the Famous Sandveld Nature Reserve. Currently we own three concessions and lease one in Niassa Province Mozambique, where we do Free Roaming Safaris. Our main camp is on the Northern Banks of the Cahorra Bassa dam in central Mozambique, where we mostly hunt monster crocodile, hippo and leopard. One concession is on the Southern Banks and the other concession on lower Zambezi River.
The concession in Niassa province is known for excellent Buffalo, leopard free roaming lion and the rare species of plains game. We also hunt Namibia with our Namibian partners. Cabassa Safaris is a family owned operation and run the business for the last 30 years.
