I could never figure out why companies did not make sunglasses that floated, and finally Rheos has answered the call with outstanding floatable polarized sunglasses. There is nothing worse than that sinking feeling (pun intended) as you watch your expensive sunglasses drift down to the bottom of the river.
Rheos came out with quality sunglasses at a reasonable price. The lenses are polarized, UV400 with hydrophobic finishes that bead up any water or fog for your glasses. They are anti-scratch and shatterproof with a light frame that will float and hold up to whatever you can throw its way. They come with a microfiber cloth.
What we liked:
- Light Weight
The light weight and floatability of these glasses are really why you will make these glasses a go to in your kit. You hardly notice these glasses are on your head, and the various looks like the Sapelos, Wyecreeks and the Bahias are iconic styles that will stand the test of time.
In addition, Rheos is working with Charleston Waterkeeper to tackle waterway cleanup and single use plastics. Team Rheos rolled up their sleeves and got to work on March 20th on the waterway. Check out the RHEOS blog for other work that they are doing, and don’t be afraid to get involved.
Rheos was built for fishers, boaters, paddlers and anyone who shares a passion for life on the water. The Rheos are worth taking a serious look. My pair is going right into my fishing kit so I never have to worry about losing sunglasses again.
