NWTF Announces Silencer Central as Longbeard Sponsor for Convention and Sport Show

EDGEFIELD, S.C. — The National Wild Turkey Federation announced Silencer Central as a Longbeard Sponsor for the Convention and Sport Show, set for Feb. 15-19 in Nashville, Tennessee. This year’s festivities mark 50 years of mission delivery for the NWTF.

“We are honored to continue our partnership with the National Wild Turkey Federation as the Longbeard Sponsor,” Silencer Central CEO Brandon Maddox said. “We understand their mission and dedication to conservation and the preservation of hunting. It is important for us to support organizations like the NWTF with our suppressor donations program to help them reach their conservation goals. It also provides us with the opportunity to educate their members on the benefits of hunting suppressed.”

Silencer Central, a second-year convention sponsor, was founded more than 15 years ago to offer customers a simplified process for safely and legally obtaining suppressors. As a Longbeard Sponsor for the 2023 Convention, Silencer Central is the exclusive sponsor of Saturday’s Grand National Auction and dinner, where attendees can bid on once-in-a-lifetime hunts and vacation packages, unique NWTF merchandise, firearms and much more. Silencer Central also will be showcasing its line of suppressors and services at booth 841 in the exhibit hall.

“We are very fortunate to have Silencer Central return as a convention sponsor and exhibitor,” said Natalia Daniels, NWTF national director of corporate relations and licensing. “They continue to increase their support for our organization and mission in many ways. It would be impossible to host our convention without the support of partners like Silencer Central.”

The first event of the NWTF Convention and Sport Show, officially sponsored by Mossy Oak, is the Pub Crawl set for the evening of Wednesday, Feb. 15. Convention festivities officially open on Thursday, Feb. 16 with the rendezvous sessions, the evening’s Kickoff Party and the opening of the Sport Show floor, which features more than 500 of the best exhibitors in the outdoor industry. The NWTF Sport Show runs from Thursday to Saturday in the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. Convention festivities conclude with a worship service on Sunday, Feb. 19.
