Ohio Open Season Sportsman’s Expo Moves to Greater Columbus Convention Center for 2021

COLUMBUS, Ohio (February 24, 2021) —  Due to the usage of the Ohio State Fairgrounds in Columbus as a COVID vaccination site, the Open Season Sportsman’s Expo, originally scheduled for March 19-21, has been relocated to the Greater Columbus Convention Center in downtown Columbus. New dates for the Expo are set for July 30-August 1, 2021.
 
The Greater Columbus Convention Center features 373,000 square feet of contiguous exhibit space and 447,000 square feet overall, with the entire building encompassing 1.8 million square feet. The Greater Columbus Convention Center is connected to five hotels by enclosed sky bridges and has six nearby parking facilities.
 
“We are very grateful to the staff of the Greater Columbus Convention Center for working with us to find a suitable home for the 2021 Expo,” said Chris O’Hara, Vertical Outdoor Director, Bonnier Events. “The Expo plays a significant role in the outdoor community as well as within the state of Ohio and we are dedicated to maintaining its success. We have a very solid exhibitor base and are confident that this relocated event will continue to be a success.”
 
Tickets purchased for the March dates will be automatically refunded by March 9th.  Tickets for the new dates will go on sale in early May.
