Ready For Anything: The CZ 600 TRAIL Rifle Now Chambered in .300 AAC

Fortune favors the prepared, so when looking for a versatile rifle and cartridge combination, look no further than the CZ 600 TRAIL, now chambered in the .300 AAC. The lightweight bolt-action rifle packs AR-style familiarity into its compact design. CZ initially offered the Trail in the popular .223 Rem and 7.62×39 cartridges, and it quickly became the go-to gun for adventure-seekers needing portable firepower. While these rounds are excellent choices, CZ saw the need for a subsonic cartridge capable of both hunting big game and for personal defense. The hard-hitting and quiet .300 AAC filled that role perfectly — a deadly combination when used with a suppressor and subsonic ammunition.

The 600 TRAIL is an ideal platform for the .300 AAC. Its 16.2 inch medium contour barrel, lightweight aluminum receiver and advanced polymer for the chassis saved weight while maintaining accuracy. The Trail tips the scales at a mere 6.1 pounds. The rifle is compact, too. An adjustable PDW stock tailors the length of pull from 5.8 to 13.7 inches. In the fully collapsed position, the Trail is only 27.2 inches long. Perfect for the backpack.

The Trail includes features and controls similar to AR platforms, including a pistol grip (with interchangeable backstraps), an ambidextrous fire-selector safety, and a mag release. The .300 AAC uses standard .223 Rem AR-15 magazines.

Shooters will also love the rifle’s smooth and fast-handling 60-degree bolt throw, which increases clearance between the bolt and optic. The Trail features an oversized honey dipper bolt knob for improved control in all conditions, even with gloved hands.

Customizing the Trail is possible in several ways. An easily adjustable single-stage trigger sets the desired trigger pull weight. The Trail includes a full-length Picatinny rail for mounting optics and other accessories and an aluminum forend with an M-LOCK interface that fits an array of aftermarket extras.

The innovative CZ 600 TRAIL is an adventure-ready rifle for the outdoors. The Trail’s compact footprint and inherent accuracy make it fast handling in close quarters and exceptionally capable at longer ranges. The CZ 600 TRAIL is the ultimate rifle for the shooter on the move. And now, in .300 AAC, it is an ultra-quiet option for everything. Be prepared; choose the CZ 600 TRAIL.

The NEW CZ 600 TRAIL is covered by the CZ Transferable Limited Lifetime Warranty.
