Bowstix
As turkey season quickly approaches here in my home state of Minnesota, I find myself searching for the newest and most innovative products to hit the market. This year the most unlikely piece of equipment fell into my lap as I begun work for C3 Engage. It was through C3 Engage that I became acquainted with Dustin Arndt and WannaB Outdoors. Dustin generously sent out the new and improved set of Bowstix for me to try this spring.
I was pleasantly surprised at this kind gesture and the Bowstix themselves. Typically I have always just laid my bow on the ground or attempted to use the traditional stake style bow holder. This Bi-Pod system is clean, simple, functional and most importantly effective! The standard ground stake holders I am accustom to using are clumsy, ineffective at times and always seem to be in the way.
The new Bowstix consist of a few simple parts – Duro Nitrile rubber dampeners, a rotating oval anodized ball, and of course the screw-in legs. Not only do the Bowstix attach directly to your bow, but also allow for you to use a stabilizer at the same time! You simply screw in the Bowstix assembly to your riser and then screw your stabilizer directly into that.
Bowstix also feature a couple of rubber dampeners for shock and noise reduction and are fully adjustable to sit properly on any ground surface. They are also guaranteed to fit on every major bow found on the market today.
When not using the Bowstix, you can easily unscrew the legs from the base that then can be screwed together, forming a solid rod. This makes packing and transporting simple. I stick the legs in my quiver to carry them just as if they were another arrow.
The new Bowstix are by far one of the coolest and newest products I have seen in the past few years. I can’t wait to hunt with mine this year as they will be a major asset for the ground blind style hunting I plan on doing.
A great product and most importantly affordable ($54.99) I recommend getting yourself a set at www.bowstix.com!
