Chief Upland Signs On as Corporate Partner of Pheasants Forever
Upland hunting gear company supports conservation mission
Pheasants Forever is thrilled to introduce a new corporate partner, Chief Upland. The Wisconsin based company signed on to a licensing partnership through 2026. Chief Upland will provide an upland hunting vest displaying the Pheasants Forever logo, with a portion of each sale going towards The Habitat Organization’s mission.
“We’re excited to welcome Chief Upland as a licensing and proud partner in our mission,” said Chris Kalis, vice president of corporate relations at Pheasants Forever. “Chief Upland’s commitment to crafting high-quality, innovative gear for upland hunters aligns seamlessly with our dedication to conservation. This partnership not only brings exceptional products to our members but also directly supports our habitat initiatives, ensuring the future of upland hunting for generations to come.”
The family-owned business has been working to develop the ideal equipment for the upland hunter since 2018. Founder of the company, Jake Lindemann, has been an entrepreneur since age 16 and an outdoorsman his whole life. The team is passionate about providing a high-quality product to ensure you keep up with your dogs in the field and hunt until their hearts are content – rain or shine, prairie or mountain. Jake operates Chief Upland alongside his wife Kristen and their two labs, Chief and Buzz.
Chief Upland’s front loading upland hunting vest is entirely customizable. Straps on the shoulders, chest and stomach ensure the user is able to comfortably wear the vest for long days in the field. The vest is now available to be purchased online, alongside additions such as the water bottle pouch, ammo box and an electronics pouch.
“Partnering with Pheasants Forever on this project is a natural fit for us,” Lindemann said. “Their long-standing commitment to preserving and expanding upland habitat and supporting wildlife aligns perfectly with our values. We’re proud to contribute proceeds to their mission and excited to offer hunters a product that not only enhances their time in the field but also helps protect the ecosystems we all cherish.”
In addition to marketing in the Pheasants Forever Journal of Upland Conservation, Quail Forever Journal and the organization’s online channels, Chief Upland will be recognized as a bronze sponsor at the 2025 National Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic in Kansas City, Missouri on March 7-9, 2025.
