Schloesser and Lopez Take Archery Gold at World Cup in Mexico

The biggest event of the international outdoor archery season this year is the World Archery World Cup, and once again Easton X10 shooters dominated the field to win the gold medals in the prestigious annual event. Contested in Tlaxcala, Mexico, 16 of the best compound archers in the world battled it out for the premiere title in target archery, and once again, Netherlands’ archer Mike “Mister Perfect” and Colombia’s Sara Lopez took the top steps on the podium with the X10 arrow shafts.
Schloesser lived up to his “Mister Perfect” moniker, shooting a perfect 150 points to defeat fellow Team Easton shooter Nicholas Girard of France, who delivered a 149 in the gold medal final with his X10 shafts. Puerto Rico’s Jean Pizzaro took the bronze with X10 Pro Tours.
On the women’s podium, Sara Lopez cemented her position as the greatest archer in World Cup history, taking her seventh Champion’s trophy with X10’s after defeating an archer from Great Britain in the finals. Colombia’s Alejandra Usquiano took bronze, also with the X10.
In addition to the compound champions, all the 16 recurve shooters competing in the World Cup final used X10 same the arrow that has been used to win every Olympic Games since its introduction.
