USA-Made X10 Arrows Sweep Berlin World Archery Championship
Competitors using Made-in-USA Easton X10 arrows won every title at the just-concluded World Archery Championship in Berlin, Germany. In compound competition, India’s Ojas DEOTALE took the individual men’s title, defeating Polish competitor Lukasz PRZYBYLSKI in the Gold Medal match, while Netherlands past World Champion, Mike SCHLOESSER, defeated Korea’s KIM Jongho in the bronze medal final. Every finalist used the X10 ProTour in the men’s compound campaign.
In the women’s competition,17-year-old Aditi SWAMI made history as she became the first female compound world champion from India. SWAMI outscored Mexico’s Andrea BECERRA in the final, while Jyothi VENNAM took bronze.
In recurve action, every medal went to competitors wielding the Made-in-USA Easton X10—the most winning arrow in target archery history. Olympic Champion, Mete GAZOZ of Turkey, defeated Canadian archer, Eric PETERS in the finals, and Brazil’s Marcus D’ALMEIDA took bronze over Indonesia’s Arif PANGESTU.
Czech Republic shooter Marie HORACKOVA defeated #1 seed, Alejandra VALENCIA, for the women’s recurve Gold Medal, while Japan’s Satsuki NODA got past American archer Casey KAUFHOLD for the bronze. In all, 75 countries sent 512 competitors to Berlin for the World Championships.
