Mark Popp's Manitoba Deer
Mark Popp took a fantastic deer in Manitoba that measured out just over 150 class. Just before he shot the buck, he took a picture with his right hand and had the rifle in his left. Mark shoots left handed and he had a quick shot before the buck disappeared into the brush. Mark spent the next two hours tracking him and Hans and he lost the trail. That night it snowed and they had to perform a body search the next morning. Over the next 2 days we let the ravens find that buck and on Friday Hans was able to pinpoint his location. We recovered him on Friday afternoon and Mark tagged him and we finished up our day.
Mark, this is a deer to be proud of!!!
