The Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF) is pleased to recognize the Dallas Safari Club (DSC) Big Sky Chapter for its generous donation of $7,500 in support of youth development through the shooting sports.

The contribution will help expand opportunities for young athletes participating in the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) and Scholastic Action Shooting Program (SASP). Together, these programs provide a safe, supportive environment where participants develop marksmanship, leadership, teamwork, personal responsibility, and respect for others.

“We greatly appreciate the support of the Dallas Safari Club Big Sky Chapter,” said Rick Leach, SSSF President and Executive Director. “Their generosity helps us continue educating young people while fostering the character, discipline, and appreciation for our outdoor traditions that will serve them throughout their lives.”

The Dallas Safari Club Foundation supports organizations dedicated to conservation, education, and advocacy. Through its partnership with SSSF, the Big Sky Chapter is helping ensure young athletes gain not only competitive experience, but also a deeper understanding of responsible firearm use, ethical sportsmanship, and the important role hunters and conservationists play in protecting wildlife for future generations.

By investing in youth today, the Big Sky Chapter is helping preserve the traditions, values, and stewardship that will strengthen the future of both the shooting sports and conservation.

The Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation extends its heartfelt appreciation to the Dallas Safari Club Big Sky Chapter for its commitment to youth education and its continued support of the next generation of athletes and outdoor leaders.
