Accokeek, MD (April 28, 2015) — The Benelli ETHOS’ string of rave reviews continues in 2015 with the presentation of the Golden Bullseye Award from two NRA publications at a special awards breakfast during the 2015 NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits in Nashville. Both American Hunter and American Rifleman named the 12 Gauge ETHOS as Shotgun of the Year.
The Golden Bullseye Awards highlight new shooting and hunting gear representing superior performance, design and value. To qualify for consideration, products must be innovative in design, function and style, perceived as a value to the purchaser, and recently introduced and available to consumers.
“It’s an honor for Benelli and the ETHOS to be recognized by NRA publications. The Golden Bullseye Awards process emphasizes quality, design and function—and the ETHOS was built to deliver on those attributes,” said Tom DeBolt, Benelli USA GM.
All products considered for the Golden Bullseye Awards are used and tested by a publication staff member or regular magazine contributor and found to be reliable and meeting or exceeding their expectations as part of the selection criteria. “We knew the ETHOS was a winner with our customers as soon as it hit the market,” said Tom Kaleta, Benelli USA VP of Marketing. “And this award, from the prestigious vantage of American Hunter and American Rifleman, is just icing on the cake.”
The ETHOS’ list of superlatives led to a covey of prestigious awards and robust sales over the past few months. The gun features ultra-clean, “classic-Benelli” lines, enhanced sights, and the inherent reliability of Benelli’s new patented Inertia Driven® System. Found only in the ETHOS line of shotguns—both 12 gauge and the newly-released 20 gauge—the improved Inertia Driven System cycles everything from 7/8 ounce to magnum loads flawlessly. Benelli’s recoil-reducing Progressive Comfort System™ and the ETHOS’ reduced weight means fast, easy, all-day operation in the field or at the range.
