(January 22, 2020) – Designed for speed and accuracy during competition and tactical shooting, the new Burris® RT-1 and RT-3 Prism sights complete the Burris R-T line of close-range optics. Compact profiles and rugged construction provide shooters two light-weight sight options with excellent balance for easy handling and speedy on target accuracy.
The RT-1 features true 1x magnification allowing for quick undistorted shooting with both eyes open. A crisp 2 MOA dot reticle auto adjusts its brightness to match surrounding light conditions while manual controls allow users to select from nine brightness levels including two ultra-bright and two night-vision compatible options. The RT-1 comes with high and low base mounts.
When the situation calls for slightly more range, the RT-3 features a Ballistic 3x™ reticle with more magnification while maintaining a large field-of-view. Estimated holdover dots allow shots out to 600 yards. The Stadia lines and center horseshoe are optimized for viewing at 3x magnification and the proven broken circle design with center dot ensures ultra-fast engagement at short distances. An integrated picatinny mount provides the optimum height.
High performance glass and multi-coated lenses provide excellent brightness, clarity and enhanced low-light and anti-glare properties. Their rugged construction is shockproof, fogproof and waterproof down to three atmospheres ensuring a perfect zero in harsh environments such as getting tossed around in the back of a UTV or being slammed into a barrel at a shooting match.
