After 10 years of use and refinement Burris introduces the FastFire 4 and FastFire RD sights enhancing the long proven FastFire line. The new models sport multiple reticle options, increased brightness, improved battery life and new housings for greater focus on targets down range no matter the type of shooting.
Built around a completely redesigned housing the FastFire 4 is an improvement on its predecessors providing increased impact resistance and a larger sight window for a greater field of view. No longer restricted to one reticle shooters can now select from four versatile options suitable for multiple shooting scenarios through the quickly accessible side toggle buttons. The removable and securable FastFire 4 weather shield ensures a watertight enclosure for a clear sight picture in any lighting condition on all types of firearms including pistols.
The new FastFire RD (RIfle Dot) is designed for the rifle shooter in mind featuring a crisp 2 MOA red dot reticle enclosed in a low-profile waterproof housing for an almost completely undistracted sight window in all weather conditions. Seven levels of brightness adjustability provide a reliable aiming point from the brightest conditions to the darkest with two low level night vision compatible settings. The built-in mounting bracket is compatible with weaver-style and picatinny rails.
Both optics sport parallax free glass for maximum accuracy and new lens coating technology to maintain red dot visibility without color distortion. An automatic brightness sensor adjusts both models to match environmental conditions. Battery life can last up to five years thanks to the automatic time-out feature and increased design efficiency. Battery access, when needed, is conveniently located on top of the of both models allowing for on weapon changing.
