CMP Hosts Garand Match Logo Contest for 2024 National Matches

The Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) is holding a National Garand Match t-shirt logo contest! The winning logo will be displayed on the 2024 National Garand Match t-shirt and other marketing materials at the annual National Matches at Camp Perry this summer – with the winning artist receiving a $500 gift certificate from the CMP!

Whether you’re a Garand rifle enthusiast or simply someone who loves to be creative, you’re eligible to enter! The contest opens Jan. 15 and runs through end of day on March 15, 2024. Top designs will be chosen by CMP staff members, with the overall winner chosen by YOU through a voting system (one vote per person).

To enter, submit your artwork in a JPEG, PDF or Vector (.ai or .eps) format to Sara Rozanski, CMP Highpower Rifle Coordinator, at srozanski@thecmp.org. Please include your name, email and phone number.

All participants must also fill out an Artwork Release form that will be issued after submission. Please contact Sara with all other questions regarding contest details. Good luck!

About the National Garand Match:

The roots of the John C. Garand Match date back to 1998 when the CMP introduced the competition into its target competition schedule. The Garand Match is a unique event where participants use vintage “As-Issued” M1 Garand rifles over a course of fire with 10 shots prone slow-fire, 10 shots prone from standing rapid-fire, and 10 shots standing, all at 200 yards. During the century-old National Matches, fired at Camp Perry each year, the National Garand Match attracts hundreds of competitors and is arguably one of the most popular events of the month-long schedule. The John C. Garand Trophy is awarded to the top competitor of the National Garand Match. Learn more about this and other National Matches events at https://thecmp.org/cmp-national-matches/.

The Civilian Marksmanship Program is a federally chartered 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation. It is dedicated to firearm safety and marksmanship training and to the promotion of marksmanship competition for citizens of the United States.
