GSM Outdoors Joins the NWTF Convention and Sport Show as a Longbeard Sponsor

EDGEFIELD, S.C.—The National Wild Turkey Federation welcomes GSM Outdoors as a first-time sponsor for the upcoming NWTF Convention and Sport Show, set to return to Nashville, Feb. 16-19, 2022.

“GSM is extremely excited about the NWTF convention this year, and the opportunity to build our relationship with one of the best conservation organizations in the country. I have felt personally connected to NWTF since I was a kid, and I feel blessed to be a part of its partnership with GSM,” said Tayler Riggen, GSM regional sales manager.

While many of the brands under the GSM Outdoors umbrella have sponsored or exhibited at convention before, this will be the first year that the parent company will sponsor the NWTF convention. Branding for GSM Outdoor heavyweights like Avian-X Decoys, Zink Calls and Hunter’s Specialties will be present in portions of the convention and sport show, and the brands will be represented at booths 1313 and 1141 in the exhibit hall.

“We are elated to have GSM’s support for our 2022 show and beyond,” said Natalia Daniels, NWTF national director of corporate relations and licensing. “We are grateful for the very meaningful support from this industry leader and their commitment to NWTF, conservation and hunting.”

The NWTF Convention and Sport Show, officially sponsored by Mossy Oak, is set to begin Thursday, Feb. 17 with the Rendezvous sessions, the Kickoff Party and the opening of the Sport Show floor, which features more than 400 of the best vendors in the outdoor industry. The NWTF Sport Show runs from Thursday to Saturday in the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. Convention festivities conclude with a worship service on Sunday, Feb. 20.

About the National Wild Turkey Federation

When the National Wild Turkey Federation was founded in 1973, there were about 1.3 million wild turkeys in North America. After decades of work, that number hit a historic high of almost 7 million turkeys. To succeed, the NWTF stood behind science-based conservation and hunters’ rights. Today, the NWTF is focused on the future of hunting and conservation through its Save the Habitat. Save the Hunt. initiative. Since 2012, this 10-year initiative has already eclipsed goals of conserving or enhancing more than 4 million acres of essential wildlife habitat, recruiting or retaining more than 1.5 million hunters and opening access to more than 500,000 acres for hunting and other recreation opportunities. This critical work will continue to impact wildlife habitat and our great outdoors in the final years of the initiative.
