The Scope Ring Finder Tool is just the latest addition to Gun University, a website dedicated to education, reviews, and firearm-related news and laws and was created by a specialized team. Ryan Cleckner, the site’s cofounder, is a former special-operations sniper and firearms industry attorney who said this type of resource has been a long time coming.
“I’ve been in the same place as countless other rifle shooters, having to guess which rings, base, and scope caps are the right fit for our rifle and scope. Not anymore. We’ve automated a system to figure this out for them, and it even finds the cheapest price online from major retailers,” Cleckner said.
As far as Cleckner knows, the tool is the first of its kind. He hopes it will help draw even more visitors to Gun University’s popular ad-free website, GunUniversity.com. Both he and cofounder Dave Chesson, as well as its regular contributors, are subject-matter experts with deep experience in the field.
