LaCrosse Footwear Honored with National Wild Turkey Federation Corporate Achievement Award

Recognition underscores LaCrosse’s continued investment in conservation and the hunting community.
PORTLAND, Ore. — LaCrosse Footwear, an American brand built on premium rubber hunting, outdoor, and lifestyle boots, proudly announces it has received the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) Corporate Achievement Award in recognition of its long-standing partnership and support of the NWTF mission. The award was presented during the NWTF’s 50th Annual Convention & Sport Show in Nashville, Tennessee.
“Our partnership with the National Wild Turkey Federation is incredibly important to us at LaCrosse Footwear,” said Michael Coughlin, LaCrosse Vice President of Wholesale and Government Sales. “It goes beyond shared goals in the field — this collaboration strengthens our connection to the outdoor community and supports conservation, hunting traditions and experiences that matter to our employees, customers and the lands we cherish.”
LaCrosse’s corporate partnership with the NWTF began in 2006 and has supported a wide range of initiatives, including the NWTF banquet program, licensing program, national convention and sweepstakes. In 2018, LaCrosse joined the NWTF licensed product program with two co-branded boot styles. That lineup has since expanded to five styles designed specifically for hunters and outdoor enthusiasts.
Through product royalties, fundraising initiatives and direct support, LaCrosse’s total contributions to the NWTF have surpassed $500,000. One such initiative includes LaCrosse’s popular boot koozie, sold annually at the NWTF convention, with 100 percent of proceeds donated directly back to the federation. In 2025 alone, the program generated more than $5,000 in support of NWTF conservation efforts.
In addition to receiving the Corporate Achievement Award, LaCrosse used the NWTF Convention & Sport Show to debut its newest innovation for spring turkey season — the Burly Aero boot lineup. Featuring lightweight construction and advanced AeroForm™ technology, the Burly Aero boots were introduced on the show floor as a next-generation solution for hunters demanding comfort, durability and performance in wet and unpredictable conditions.
“We are grateful for our partnership with LaCrosse and their immense contributions to our organization to support our mission and help us unite a nation through the life-changing power of the outdoors,” said NWTF co-CEO Jason Burckhalter. “We are proud to recognize LaCrosse for their unwavering commitment to the NWTF and our nation’s natural resources.”
