Lowa Women’s Renegade GTX Mid Boot Review
Our feet are the gateway to adventure! They can take us to some amazing places and if your feet aren’t happy, let’s be real, you aren’t happy. We have all experienced the discomfort of a bad shoe or boot at least once and I can bet that if you are like me, it becomes an overbearing negative to the experience. That is why when you find a good boot, you hope they never wear out….Enter the Lowa Women’s Renegade GTX Mid.
From the moment I took these out of the box, I was in love. The Renegade GTX boots are made from a women’s specific last which not only makes the fit great, but they look great too. They are sleeker and less boxy than their competitors and super cute! They also come in FIFTEEN different colors!! Okay, aesthetics aside, the moment I put them on I felt like I had already walked 100 miles in them. Lowa uses their signature DuraPU™ midsole, (polyurethane injected) and MONOWRAP® frame construction which provides unparalleled stability and ultra comfort on tricky terrain.
I spent the last couple of weeks elk scouting and most recently hunting and encountered various terrain. Whether it was soft and wet, to dry and slick, the Vibram® Evo sole provided sure-footed waterproof traction and breathability. I was continuously aware of how supported I felt when I was walking, pedaling or climbing a tree. The Renegades never felt bulky or heavy and gave me full confidence in my movement.
It is no wonder these boots have been a best seller for over 20 years. I look forward to many more scouting and hunting miles in my Renegades. These boots retail at $230 and can be purchased at www.lowaboots.com
