MPOWERD Luci Pro Outdoor 2.0 Light Review

The team at MPOWERD cares about producing high quality lights and providing lights to those who live without electricity.  MPOWERD was started in 2012, and it has been providing students with solar powered Luci lights to help them study and play after dark. Over the past couple of years, they have developed a program fort eachers to educate students about the power and potential of solar energy. MPOWERD also created a Build-Your-Own-Luci STEM kit specifically to teach scientific concepts in real life. This is a company that cares about students.

We had the opportunity to test out the newest Luci Pro Outdoor 2.0+ with Mobile Charging light on a recent trip to Montana.  I found the light to be pretty darn cool.  I charged it each day in my truck on the way to Montana, and for the entire nine days I used the light each night for 3 to 4 hours.  On the last night, I left it on all night.  The Outdoor 2.0+ is an inflatable light that is perfect for around camp, in the tent, and even as a fishing light because it floats on water.  The light can power a mobile device with a two-way mobile USB port, and it can be charged within a couple of hours.

We found the light easy to blow up and easy to use.  It’s not a head lamp, and it really has no hunting purpose whatsoever, but it was pretty nice to have sitting at the camp table making dinner.  The light floods out with up to 150 lumens and has four light levels: low, medium, high and 1 second flashing.  The Outdoor 2.0+ light retails at $34.95.

Like we said, the MPOWERD LUCI OUTDOOR 2.0+ light has no real use while actually on the hunt, but not everything we own has to be covered in camo.  Our outdoor gear does have to work well, be useful, and be well-made, all of which are found in the Outdoor 2.0+ light.
