MuckBoots FieldBlazer Hunting Boots

Muckboots FieldBlazer Hunting Boots offer best in class, comfortable rubber soled boots for hunters in most all weather conditions.

DSC_0013This last fall I had the opportunity to test out a set of MuckBoots.  Several of my friends have worn them around the horse barns and ranches for the last decade plus and have always recommended them wholeheartedly.  When they called and offered to send out a pair for me to test out this fall, I jumped at the chance.  I got the boots just after the fall rifle season in late November so I tested them out in the deep snow of December muzzleloader season.

These boots held up and stayed on my feet in even the deepest of snow and they were warm.  I wore wool socks, but I have worn them barefoot out of the house and my feet are comfortable as can be.  I have the boots in Mossy Oak Upper’s and the boots are rated to sub-freezing up to 85 degrees.  The stretch-fit topline binding keeps these boots snug to your calf to keep the warmth in the boots and cold snow out.  These boots are 100% waterproof and I have no fear of walking in anything with these boots on.

DSC_0012The soles of these boots are all around the perimeter to provide protection and they provide a self-cleaning system.  They will hold mud, so I don’t recommend wearing them on the wife’s favorite rug but these boots are really easy to keep clean and mud and dirt knocks off pretty darn easily.

DSCN0055What shocked me about the MuckBoot FieldBlazer Boots is that the boot is so darn comfortable to wear and they quickly became my go to boot for just about everything.  I got them for hunting in but I now find myself wearing them everywhere.  I step in to them to shovel snow, grab wood from the woodpile, run out to the store, walk the dog in the morning and I have been wearing them just about everywhere.  This last week, I took the boots with me down to Arkansas on a trout fishing trip and wore them in and out of small creeks and all over town.   These boots are light and easy to care for, I couldn’t be happier.

I don’t have to worry about laces, they are slip on and off, these fit snug to my feet and provide waterproof protection.   Wearing these boots into the field, these boots are not 100% rubber with the Neoprene upper and I have heard from hunters that they can hold scent.  I wash all of my boots in the shower before season starts and even with my rubber boots, I spray down with quality scent control, so I think these boots work great for all but the most devout scent conscious hunters.

You can buy these boots directly from MuckBoots.com or my good friends at HuntingBoots.com!
