Celebrate Freedom on 2A Day – Saturday, February 22, 2025
Fairfax, VA – The National Rifle Association of America (NRA) is proud to support Brownells’ Fourth Annual 2A Day on Saturday, February 22, 2025. The mission of 2A Day is to celebrate, advocate, and join. NRA encourages its members and all gun owners to exercise their Second Amendment rights this weekend to celebrate freedom.
“On behalf of NRA’s millions of members, I thank Brownells and their CEO Pete Brownell for creating 2A Day where we can celebrate our cherished Second Amendment rights,” said Doug Hamlin, NRA Executive Vice President & CEO. “NRA is pleased to support Brownells in this effort to protect and expand gun rights in America. Brownells has been a longtime ally of the NRA, and we are grateful for their continued work in defense of freedom.”
Brownells and co-sponsor Smith & Wesson are partnering with shooting ranges nationwide to offer free range time and limited complimentary ammunition for participants. This 2A Day, Brownells is also encouraging civic engagement in support of the right to keep and bear arms by contacting lawmakers at both the state and federal levels. The Brownells 2A Day website provides links to help gun owners find and contact their representatives and offers guidance on effective advocacy.

To continue the fight to preserve and protect Second Amendment rights, Brownells is also asking supporters to join state and national-level pro-gun organizations, including America’s longest-standing civil rights organization, the NRA.
