Scholastic Action Shooting Program Selects Christopher Albertson as Programs Manager

Melissa, TX- The Scholastic Action Shooting Program (SASP), a youth development program of the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF), has named Chris Albertson as their new Programs Manager. Of 27 applicants for the position, SSSF staff interviewed 5 qualified candidates. Albertson was selected with the experience and knowledge of having previously been a parent of an athlete in the program and then serving as an assistant coach and head coach of a SASP team.
“I came to SASP as a parent and was drawn to the goals of team and character building,” stated Albertson. “As a parent watching my daughter build discipline, work ethic, and friendships has been truly amazing. My motivation for becoming a coach stems from my desire to assist young men and women in navigating the challenges of practices while simultaneously reaping the rewards of competition. I am honored to continue helping support and grow SASP as the Programs Manager.”
“We are very excited to add Chris as the SASP Programs Manager,” said SASP National Director, John Leach. “His passion to grow youth shooting sports as a whole is very evident. I look forward to seeing him help continue to grow our SSSF programs.”
