January 20, 2025: Crewkerne England – Pioneer in red dot sight manufacturing and design, SHIELD Sights announces the RMSsc Sub Compact Red Dot Sight to be a perfect fit on micro-compact or slim frame pistols.
Building on the success and popularity of the RMSc, the RMSsc takes compact to the next level to be the smallest micro red dot on the market. The RMSsc takes advantage of the smaller CR1632 battery and reduces the width to provide a seamless fit with the smallest pistols on the market. Built out of anodized aerospace grade T6 6082 Aluminium, the RMSsc features excellent corrosion resistance and the highest strength of the 6000 series alloys. The all-new crystal clear glass lens has no magnification or coloured coatings to provide an unobstructed view of the field of fire.
Like the other optics in the RMS line, The RMSsc shares the SHIELD standard footprint allowing backward and forward compatibility with a low height over bore axis to allow co-witness capability with standard height iron sights. The RMSsc is always ready with no need to shake awake or turn on, simply draw, aim, and shoot. The auto brightness adjustment samples the ambient light thousands of times per second and provides the best brightness for the current lighting environment.
Features:

- All new crystal clear glass lens and Micro compact body design
- Available in 4 or 8MOA options

About SHIELD
SHIELD Sights was formed in the early 1980’s in Great Britain where it began to pioneer the development of micro red dot sights that are so popular in this modern age. Initially sold under other brand names, you may know the SHIELD Mini Sight as the Firepoint, Tasco Optima, Trijicon RedDot or JPoint. 30 years of experience has paid off in recent years as SHIELD Sights has become the only standardized optic cut offered by leading handgun manufacturers and has now become the footprint of choice of many other optic companies.
