Shoot United™ and Vortex® to Host Exclusive Event for New Shooting Sports Participants During National Shooting Sports Month

Shoot United announces its collaboration with Vortex on an exclusive event at the Vortex Edge facility in Barneveld, Wisconsin, on August 17.

Led by expert instructors, attendees will receive hands-on education in pistol, carbine, and rifle handling. This immersive course emphasizes safety, fundamentals, and confidence-building to introduce new shooting sports participants in a positive, responsible environment.

“Shoot United is in its third year of providing hands-on firearms instruction for those new to the shooting sports,” said Jason Gilbertson, Director of Marketing for Shoot United. “We are excited to work with Vortex and Vortex Edge, industry leaders in optics and firearms training on this exclusive event. Attendees will receive first-rate instruction and leave the event with the knowledge they need to pursue their firearms journey safely and responsibly.”

The Shoot United and Vortex Edge Experience takes place in August, which is also National Shooting Sports Month.

“Vortex is proud to work with Shoot United to help these folks receive instruction from our incredible team at Vortex Edge,” said Sawyer Briel, Brand and Communications Manager for Vortex. “We pride ourselves on being a resource for everyone looking to learn and grow, whether it’s their first time at the range or their 100th – National Shooting Sports Month is such a perfect time to hold this awesome event.”

Now in its 8th year, National Shooting Sports Month is an annual celebration of the shooting sports that is organized by the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF). The program is designed to encourage participation in target shooting with events, promotions, and more taking place at ranges and retailers nationwide.

Shoot United is proud to support National Shooting Sports Month by actively recruiting new shooting sports participants to the event at Vortex Edge as well as through exciting and engaging content on their social media platforms.
