Sporting-Conservation Community Gathers at Childress Vineyards to Celebrate 20 Years of Annual Wine, Wheels & Wildlife Regional Event

This week, the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF) and CSF Board of Directors Chairman and NASCAR legend Richard Childress co-hosted the 20th Annual Wine, Wheels, & Wildlife Event. Hosted again at the beautiful Childress Vineyards in Lexington, North Carolina, the event brought together representatives from the hunting and angling industry, federal and state legislators, advocacy partners, and NASCAR stars for an entertaining evening recognizing our time-honored traditions and the tremendous achievements set forth by CSF across America.

“For two decades I have been hosting Wine, Wheels, and Wildlife to celebrate and support CSF’s leadership on behalf of America’s sportsmen and women and their impact on our country’s rich sporting heritage,” said Richard Childress, CSF Board of Directors Chairman and CEO of Richard Childress Racing. “The great team of hunters, anglers, and policy professionals at CSF work every day to protect and promote the outdoor heritage that I, and all the attendees of Wine, Wheels, and Wildlife, hold so dear. I am honored to support that mission and to be a long-standing partner of the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation.”

For 35 years, the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation has been the nation’s leading authority in protecting and advancing our time-honored traditions. CSF, working closely with industry partners and our unique network of the Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus, the Governors Sportsmen’s Caucus, and the National Assembly of Sportsmen’s Caucuses, leads the charge to protect hunting, angling, trapping, and recreational shooting in the halls of government. The work done by CSF would not be possible without the support of the outdoor community and our partners and events like this.

During the event, attendees were addressed by Congressman Richard Hudson about the importance of sharing the tradition of our time-honored outdoor pursuits with future generations and by retired United States Marine and host of FOX Nation Outdoors Joey Jones. Other notable guests included outdoor media personality Eva Shockey, among others. The event concluded with a live auction as a part of the night’s entertainment to help CSF further its mission to protect and advance hunting, angling, recreational shooting and trapping in the halls of government.

“CSF is grateful for the continued support of Richard Childress in hosting this annual event for 20 years. The Wine, Wheels, and Wildlife event provides an unparalleled opportunity to bring together the sporting-conservation community to learn about CSF’s critical role in the sportsmen’s policy arena,” said CSF President and CEO Jeff Crane. “On behalf of CSF and the entire sporting-conservation community, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Richard Childress, not only for his generosity in hosting this event for two decades but also for his tremendous impact on and support of our outdoor traditions.”

CSF would like to extend thanks to all the sponsors who made this event possible.
