Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (NYSE: RGR) is pleased to announce that Team Ruger’s Dave Olhasso walked away with this season’s first divisional win at the 2021 IDPA Arctic Blast Regional Championship held at the Wilkes-Barre Rifle and Pistol Club located in Hunlock Creek, PA.
Olhasso took top honors in the ESP Division with a final time of 137.48, and finished second overall shooting the Ruger Custom Shop® SR1911® Competition chambered in 9mm Luger.
“The stages of this match gave me an opportunity to really turn up the speed and run my Custom Shop SR1911 at the pace it deserves,” commented Olhasso. “We were blessed with optimal conditions for a January match, making this a great season opener for Team Ruger.”
