February 18th, 2015 the “Best of the Best” will once again descend into Montgomery, Alabama for the 2nd Annual “Squirrel Master Classic” held by Gamo Outdoors USA (@GamoOutdoor). Each year the contest showcases the latest and greatest Gamo technology and advancements in air rifles.
Last years event got the annual affair kicked off with a host of television personalities and Gamo Prostaff. This year big name personalities from “Bone Collector”, “Buckmasters”, “Shawn Michaels MRA Hunting”, Doug Koenig Championship Season”, “Hardcore”, and more will be leading the charge in the competition. Along side them there are slated to be 13 media outlets embedded with their teams covering the event including our resident reporter, Sgt Patrick Perkins of the Heroes Hunting Foundation (www.facebook.com/heroeshunting100). Completing the teams, each will be paired up with a dog and 4H children to go after the biggest and most squirrels they can in a 24 hour period.
This is an invitation only event, but don’t worry, all the show personalities will be filming the event for use on each of their own shows listed above. Get ready Montgomery squirrel community, it’s about to get real. Stay tuned for a follow up after the event.
