Legacy Surf-Rod Series Gets Angler-Driven Upgrades for 2027

Modernized St. Croix TRIUMPH SURF Series rods set to debut at ICAST 2026
PARK FALLS, Wis. (June 9, 2026) – TRIUMPH SURF sets the standard for value in high-performance handcrafted surf rods. Expanded for 2027 with all-new models and featuring core, angler-driven upgrades, the North-American-made TRIUMPH SURF series continues its legacy of giving passionate surf anglers premium, handcrafted, St. Croix quality and performance at a price that makes them easy to own.
TRIUMPH SURF grows from five to seven spinning models for 2027, covering 7’ to 11’ lengths in versatile medium to medium-heavy powers for launching lures and bait rigs between 5/8 and 8 ounces.
Crafted on proven, durable and responsive SCII carbon fiber blanks, TRIUMPH SURF looks better than ever in a stealthy, all-new Granite Metallic color. TRIUMPH SURF is further strengthened with FRS technology, plus ART at the ferrule location on each rod’s 70/30 split (not applicable to one-piece 7’ & 8’ models).
TRIUMPH SURF features angler-preferred K-style polished stainless-steel/aluminum oxide guides for worry-free durability and tangle-free performance with braided lines. Handles and foregrips are all-new, constructed from X-Flock shrink tubing placed directly over the blank for maximum tactile response, with premium EVA accents book-ending the new, angler-preferred NPS low-profile reel seat.
The upgraded TRIUMPH SURF Series retains angler-friendly $160 to $240 retail pricing for 2027, along with a 5-year warranty backed by St. Croix service.
