Firminator G3 ATV Model: Big Firminator Performance in a Compact, Towable Package
Milner, GA (Sept 30, 2026) – The full-size Firminator G3 earned its reputation by putting everything a landowner needs to build a food plot into a single implement. But not every plot is accessible to a full-size tractor, and not every landowner owns one. For those working smaller acreage, tighter access roads, or remote back-40 locations, Ranew’s Outdoor Equipment built the Firminator G3 ATV Model, a compact version of the original that keeps all the core Firminator features in a lighter, more affordable, more portable package built to tow behind an ATV or UTV.
The ATV Model shares the same rugged 3-inch steel square tubing frame as the full-size Firminator G3, built to handle tough turf without flexing or bending. A 2-inch ball tow bar makes it easy to hook up behind an ATV or UTV, while a retained 3-point hitch keeps it compatible with a small tractor. At 860 pounds, the ATV Model is light enough to be pulled by an ATV or UTV as small as 500cc, yet heavy enough to bite into hard ground that would send other ATV harrows bouncing across the surface.
Adjustability is where the ATV Model really earns its Firminator name. Lengthening the top link adjustment leans more weight onto the six 16-inch ground-turning discs for a deeper cut, while shortening it lightens up the discs for applications like top-seeding. Mid-range settings dial in varying disc depth, so the cultipacker maintains solid ground contact, breaks up clods, and levels and firms the soil in a single pass.
The seeding system is every bit as capable as what’s found on the larger Firminator models. A rugged steel seed box handles everything from tiny clover seed to larger corn and peas, even blended in the same pass. The ground-driven metering system ties seed output directly to travel speed, so when the Firminator stops rolling, the seed stops falling, reducing wasted seed and uneven coverage.
Behind the seed box, an agricultural-grade cast iron cultipacker rolls over the seed as soon as it hits the ground. Adjusting the top link raises the discs off the ground, shifting more frame weight onto the cultipacker, improving soil-to-seed contact, promoting stronger germination, and reducing waste.
From a small food plot behind the house to the farthest corner of the back 40, the Firminator G3 ATV Model gives landowners an affordable, all-in-one way to build food plots, filter strips, pastures, lawns, and other conservation plantings, without needing a full-size tractor to get it done.
