Access All Hornady Security® RAPiD® Safes With A Single RFID Tag

Grand Island, NE (January 19, 2023) – Hornady Security® uses patented RFID technology which allows users to access all of their RAPiD® safes with a single programmed RFID tag, including Hornady’s Ready Vault®. There is no need to carry or keep track of multiple RFID tags since the RAPiD safes can be quickly and easily opened by a swipe of the included, programmable RFID watchband, key fob, or decal. Up to five RFID tags can be programmed for each safe, providing touch-free access and ease of use with the unmatched security synonymous with the Hornady name.

Hornady Security RAPiD safes exceed the highest safety standards from ASTM International and are listed by the California DOJ as approved firearm safety devices. They are constructed from heavy-duty, tamper-proof steel and include hardened interior locking lugs. They feature pre-drilled mounting holes to allow for attachment to stationary objects or can be secured using an included heavy-duty security cable.

In addition to the RFID tag, Hornady safes can be accessed by entering a programmable 4-6 digit code on the lid’s electronic keypad. Additionally, emergency access barrel keys are provided. Hornady safes are AC-powered and are backed up by batteries in the event of a power outage.

Hornady Security RAPiD safes provide enhanced peace of mind that your firearm is safely secured from unauthorized users. The spring-assisted lid instantly pops open when needed, providing immediate access to your weapon that you can depend on in an emergency because your life, safety, and security are top priorities at Hornady.
