ALPS Mountaineering’s Introduces the Ultra-Comfortable Simmer Lounger

New Haven, Mo. – ALPS Mountaineering, manufacturer of performance-driven technical support gear for wilderness exploration, trekking, and family camping, continues to expand the company’s camping furniture line for 2022 with the new Simmer Lounger.

Nothing beats a comfortable yet portable chair for sitting around the campfire, on the beach, or even by the tailgate. Combining maximum comfort with compact portability is always a challenge, but the Simmer Lounger pulls it off in grand style.

The Simmer Lounger’s exceeding comfort comes from its high-back design, providing a modest reclining position with full back support. Additionally, the lounger features a multi-position pillow that easily adjusts to a high or low position to achieve the ideal neck and head support. Ample side panels and “bucket-style” seating delivers full support for hours of comfort.

Built around a durable, compact-folding steel frame, the chair is made of 420D polyester honeycomb ripstop fabric with a nylon mesh center to promote airflow in warm weather. The lounger’s carry bag attaches to the frame via clips to serve as an accessory pouch. Stowed in the carry bag, the folded Simmer Lounger measures 6x4x23 inches and weighs 6 lbs., 2 oz.

The Simmer Lounger is available in Salsa/Charcoal or Citrus/Charcoal color combinations.
