The new ALPS Elite pack system builds on the company’s Extreme series of award-winning frame packs with refinements to better support the “go hard, go light” backcountry hunter. The frame, for example, is re-engineered with a high-performance thermoplastic composite to be 30% lighter in weight while also increasing strength by 30%. Combined with the Elite contoured lumbar design, quiet and breathable 3D air mesh suspension, anti-slip lumbar pad, and custom configurable shoulder straps and lashing system for load management, the Elite pack system represents the apex in ergonomic, high-performance, lightweight backcountry packs.
The Elite system is comprised of one frame and two pack combinations—the Elite frame and an 1800 or 3800 cubic inch volume pack bag. The Elite frame can also be purchased as a stand-alone solution for game hauling duties or be paired with separately available 1800 and 3800 pack bags. By offering the Elite frame and packs separately or as a frame/pack unit adds the modularity serious hunters need to match changing needs and hunting conditions.
