I am off to chase Antelope with Dennis! We are very excited to get out and make this trip and will be north of Laramie, WY. We are looking for some big Antelope and hopefully a day on the stream. I am really looking forward to spending some time with my good friend Dennis. He can still use your votes at “I am Wolverine ” and you have the chance to win a $100.00.
This week has been an emotional week for me. With 9/11 memories and then preparing for this antelope trip has brought back memories of my last Antelope hunt with my father and brother in law. It has reminded me how very much that I miss my father and I miss being able to hunt with him. I am really looking forward to this hunt and I am looking forward to this trip and we will have a video crew that is going to be filming the hunt for us as well to share with all of you!
This picture was from our last hunt. We drove into Green River, Wyoming and hunted in area 60 or 61. Dad and I did a ton of scouting and we had a really good hunt. On the first day Dad and David got their Antelope and on Day two I got mine at about 7:45 am. We had just pulled off of 80 and dove about a half mile when an entire herd walked in front of us. I jumped out of the truck and put a nice stalk on the herd. I clean up missed my first shot and the next two shots and took the antelope at about 300 yards with my fourth shot.
