BACKCOUNTRY QUEST TV BRINGS HOME ITS FIRST TELLY AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING OUTDOOR PROGRAM

Grayling, MI ‐ BackCountry Quest TV is pleased to announce they are the recipient of a 2010 Telly Award for Outstanding Outdoor Television Production. BackCountry Quest TV (BCQ) is produced by brothers, Chris and Casey Keefer, from Michigan and airs exclusively on Sportsman Channel in the United States and on Wild TV in Canada.20100604_TSCLOGO

Now in its third season on air, BCQ TV can add this highly coveted award to its list of accolades. In 2008, BCQ’s first season on the air, the show was nominated for Fan Favorite Shows for the Sportsman Channel Awards. In each episode, viewers are taken on a true Quest – from remote bush country to the heartland of America, each episode offers viewers a true insight into the realities of chasing big game.

“Our team of field producers and editors have worked very hard to come up with innovative and creative ways of advertising our sponsors and their products,” stated Casey Keefer, the younger of the two brothers and co-host.

“To see our efforts get recognized with such a prestigious award reassures us that we are on the right track and that we are connecting with people in a way that very few outdoor programs can match,” added Chris Keefer, co-host.

The Telly Awards, founded in 1978, is one of the most sought‐after awards by industry leaders, from large international firms to local production companies and ad agencies.
Their objective is honoring the very best local, regional, and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions, and work created for the web. All entries are judged against a high standard of merit while focusing on a strong distinction of creative work.

BackCountry Quest TV is produced in association with Rack Focus Outdoor Multimedia. If you would like to learn more about becoming a partner of BackCountry Quest TV, please contact the Keefers at 800-723-2445.
