Brotherhood Outdoors Season 14 Kicks Off with New Format, Exclusively on YouTube

Michigan pipefitter/Army veteran chases Wyoming pronghorn in season 14, episode 1

Spring Hill, Tenn. — The Union Sportsmen’s Alliance (USA) kicks off the 14th season of its Brotherhood Outdoors video series with a new look and feel, with episodes airing exclusively on YouTube beginning today.

While the premise of taking everyday union sportsmen and sportswomen on extraordinary hunting and fishing adventures will remain the same, the new season features a micro-documentary film format with episodes averaging 12 minutes long. The episodes will be posted every other Monday at 4 p.m. ET on the USA’s YouTube channel in 2022 with bonus videos—including cooking segments, in-depth guest backgrounds, how to segments, guide insights, and more—posted in between.

“American union workers are the heart of the Union Sportsmen’s Alliance—and their stories are what Brotherhood Outdoors is all about,” said USA Director of Conservation and Communications Forrest Parker. “After 13 seasons of airing Brotherhood Outdoors on network TV, we are very excited to move our union-dedicated outdoor series to YouTube to give all our members real-time, free access to enjoy it and help shape future content through their digital engagement.”

Union pipefitter Sean Gale experiences an intense stare down with a mature antelope buck on Brotherhood Outdoors.

First in this season’s lineup is Michigan union pipefitter Sean Gale. After serving four years in the U.S. Army, Gale joined the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing, Pipefitting and Sprinkler Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada (UA) Local 636.

Gale meets up with Parker and Big Horn Outfitters in Buffalo, Wyoming, where he sights in his new crossbow before heading into the wide-open country for his first antelope hunt. After a day of watching numerous goats pass out of range, the crew shifts to a new location on day two. That’s when Gale experiences an intense stare down with a mature buck.

Viewers can find out how the stare down ends and catch all the excitement of Gale’s Wyoming adventure on the USA’s YouTube channel.

Presented by ULLICO, Brotherhood Outdoors is also sponsored by the following unions, contractors, and corporate partners: Carhartt; International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers; International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers; National Electrical Contractors Association; Thorogood; and United Association/International Training Fund’s Veterans in Piping Program.

Union Sportsmen’s Alliance (USA): The USA is a union-dedicated, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose members hunt, fish, shoot, and volunteer their skills for conservation.
