The Sandman X utilizes Dead Air’s advanced Triskelion™ Gas Management System™ technology — an innovative, 3D printed baffle system that reduces weight, boosts strength, improves thermal performance, and greatly minimizes gas blowback. This is the first model in the Sandman series to incorporate this Triskelion™ Gas Management System™. The unit features the Dead Air R-series flash hider front cap, making it compatible for use on 5.56 NATO platforms when paired with the Dead Air 5.56 flash hider.
For mounting, the Sandman X accepts all Dead Air HUB adapters, including the KeyMo, Xeno, and Direct Thread mounting systems, and is compatible with many of the 1.375-24 adapters on the market today. This, combined with the Flash Hider R-series front cap modularity, allows the Sandman X to easily integrate with most setups.
