Ed Yates Re-Elected to the GSCO Board of Directors

SCO Executive Director Jason Price today announced that Ed Yates of Wrightsville, PA, has been re-elected to a second three-year term on the GSCO Board of Directors, effective July 1, 2023.

 “I am pleased to report the GSCO membership has again chosen Ed to serve the leadership of this great organization. Ed has achieved unparalleled success in both the business world and hunting community. He is steadfast in his belief that ‘Hunting is the #1 Conservation Tool’ and believes it is up to hunters to be in the forefront of wildlife conservation. I couldn’t be more excited about Ed continuing on the GSCO Board,” Price said.

Ed has been on more than 150 hunts spanning six continents and more than 50 countries. He has earned the Grand Slam of North American Wild Sheep, the Ovis Super 30 of sheep and the Capra Super 30 of goats. He was inducted into the GSCO Pantheon in 2013. He received the very prestigious Weatherby Award in 2011, the Conklin Award in 2014, and the highest award bestowed by GSCO, the OVIS, in 2017.

In the business world, Ed was the CFO/ Senior Vice President of Dentsply, the world’s largest manufacturer of professional dental products.
