Federal Ammunition® Sponsors Pass It On – Outdoor Mentors
Federal Ammunition ® renewed their sponsorship of the Pass It On – Outdoor Mentors program, giving more children the opportunity to experience the great outdoors.
Federal Ammunition has renewed their sponsorship commitment to help expand and grow the Pass It On – Outdoor Mentors program that gives children the opportunity to experience the great outdoors.
Brittany French, Pass It On – Outdoor Mentors CEO, said, “We are deeply thankful for the generous support from Federal Ammunition. They have been a long-time sponsor for our Outdoor Mentoring program and their support has been instrumental in helping us achieve the results we have. We now have 2 full-time Program Coordinators in Kansas, one in Iowa and one in Wisconsin. Thanks to Federal Ammunition’s support, we are working to expand to at least two more states in 2024.”
“Federal is thrilled to continue its support to a growing organization who offers mentored hunting opportunities to youth that may not otherwise get the opportunity to enjoy our hunting heritage.” says Jon Zinnel, Sr Manager of Community Relations for Federal Ammunition. “Furthermore, Pass It On continues to deliver results by adding more support staff allowing them to host more recruitment events across several midwestern states and Federal is proud to continue to support these efforts.”
Pass It On – Outdoor Mentors partners with state fish and wildlife agencies, conservation organizations and youth organizations to give at-risk children outdoor opportunities they would not have had otherwise. “Being able to plan, coordinate and organize over 600 events last year takes dedicated staff. We can’t do this without support from the outdoor community. Federal Ammunition has set a high bar with their on-going support.” stated French.

About Pass It On – Outdoor Mentors
Pass It On – Outdoor Mentors, Inc. is a Wichita, Kansas-based national organization dedicated to providing children with mentors who will share with them the experiences of traditional outdoor activities. The heart of the group’s mission is to give children opportunities to connect with nature that they more than likely won’t have without a mentor showing them the way. Partnering with organizations with like-minded conservation and youth participation efforts like Big Brothers Big Sisters, Pheasants Forever, the National Shooting Sports Foundation, Delta Waterfowl, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and the National Wild Turkey Federation, among others, volunteers with a passion for the outdoors can give a child the chance to go fish, hunt, or simply spend time in the fields with a caring adult.
