Firminator vs. the Competitor

Just what is it that makes the Firminator the best food plot implement on earth? It’s not just one thing but several rolled into a single implement.

Versatility

“The Firminator is the only planting implement I need. Whether I’m doing conventional tillage, one-pass planting on food plots, or simply drilling in winter grazing for cattle, the Firminator can do it all,” says Chuck Sykes of The Management Advantage. Indeed, operators can vary angle and pitch adjustments for different functions and site conditions. They can set disk angles aggressively and create a heavy forward tilt of the entire unit for deeper disk penetration for first-time planting or sites that are heavy with debris. Angles and pitch can be adjusted to just slightly cut through top litter with minimal soil disturbance where a minimal till operation is desired. But the versatility doesn’t end there.

Different plants grow from different-sized seeds. Accommodating them can be problematic for many of the competitor’s spreaders, requiring multiple passes and adjustments, changing internal components between passes, or larger seeds getting stuck or smaller seeds spilling through too quickly. The Firminator’s Accurate Seeding System ensures that won’t happen. Metering openings can be adjusted in one-sixteenth-inch graduations until the proper selections for the largest seed in a blend are found. As the Firminator moves forward, the seed is dropped into a specially designed baffle that evenly and thoroughly distributes seeds of different sizes. With the optional seed hopper agitator, you can even spread blends with extreme size differences in a single pass. The agitator helps keep seeds thoroughly mixed and prevents smaller seeds from sifting through too quickly.

Efficiency

“When an implement is so efficient it can cut your tractor time in half while using less seed and produce higher yields and tonnage of crops for wildlife, well, it’s a no brainer for me,” says Travis T-Bone Turner, co-host of Realtree Road Trips and Bone Collector. Unlike other implements, the Firminator’s all-in-one configuration incorporates a tiller, spreader, and cultipacker into a single unit so you can till, plant, and pack without changing implements. The disk blades are spaced at 6″ spacing with custom-made iron disk spools instead of competitors’ disks spaced at the standard 7-1/2″ distance. This means more disk blades across the width of The Firminator (12 on the six-foot unit). That creates a more thorough cut, which in turn means fewer passes.

Because the system is ground-driven, seeds are metered out relative to speed, and when the Firminator stops rolling, seeds stop falling, so there’s no spill waste. Furthermore, seeds fall right in front of the culti-packer’s heavy, notched, cast-iron wheels that are proven to eliminate air space, pulverize clods, and level the soil while providing a beautifully prepared, firm seed bed. This enhances seed-to-soil contact for much better germination rates, reducing wasted seed, time, and effort.

Durability

“What a great piece of equipment for a Gamekeeper. They are well built and durable,” says Bobby Cole of Mossy Oak BioLogic. Ranew’s Outdoor Equipment (ROE) combines time-tested American craftsmanship and materials with the latest technology to produce every Firminator. At ROE’s Milner, Georgia plant, welders and fabricators combine years of experience with high-end tooling to produce each frame and seed box. Then, ROE painters use top-of-the-line powder coat material on automated and manual powder coat lines to create a superior finish. Heavy, 18-inch, notched 9-gauge steel disks will withstand the harshest ground conditions. So do those mentioned above heavy, notched, cast-iron culti-packer wheels and the disk axles, carried in triple-sealed replaceable bearings with cast-iron spools for added weight and durability. “Well-built equipment is hard to find. The Firminator is extremely heavy-duty, built with attention to detail, and is the kind of implement your grandkids will still be using,” says Mossy Oak’s Austin Delano.

Dependability

Given all of the above, it’s no wonder Firminator has a 99% customer satisfaction rate. That’s what makes the Firminator the best food plot implement on earth.

Product Features:
