Franchi Momentum Elite Offers Shooters and Hunters Premium Features with an Ergonomic Feel
ACCOKEEK, Md. (January 21, 2020) -Franchi entered the bolt-action rifle market with the introduction of the Momemtum in 2018. The latest evolution of this platform includes an updated look and premium features for enhanced performance. Franchi brings its rich heritage of Italian craftsmanship and innovation with the introduction of the Momentum Elite.
The Momentum Elite boasts hunting-centric colors, each featuring a complimentary Cerakote finish on the barrel and receiver for protection from the elements. The riflestock color options are Hunter Gray, new Realtree EXCAPE and Strata by TrueTimber. The threaded barrel is topped with a one-piece picatinny top rail and fitted with a cerekoted muzzle break. A detachable magazine offers quick and easy reloading.
The Momentum Elite rifle shares the original Momentum’s revolutionary stock. The stock combines raised curves and crisp checkering at strategic places along the rifle, delivering an enhanced ergonomic feel and positive hold in the five most commonly used shooting positions. Sling-attachment points are recessed on the stock, eliminating the need for intrusive swivel studs. At the butt, Franchi’s popular TSA recoil pad absorbs up to 50 percent of the rifle’s felt recoil with integrated contours to offer more comfortable benchrest shooting positions.
The rifle’s one-piece bolt is spiral fluted and features three locking lugs for solid lockup to deliver increased accuracy. The cerekoted bolt handle has a short, 60-degree throw for faster cycling and is easy to disassemble when cleaning. The Momentum features a two-position safety, which allows the bolt to be operated when the rifle has been made safe and a crisp, single-stage trigger than can be adjusted from 2 to 4 pounds.
The Momentum Elite will debut in 6,5 Creedmoor, .308 Win. and .223 Rem. all perfect calibers for target shooting, hunting and predator control.
