Gamebird Conference Announces Attendee Incentive Promotions
(May 28, 2024) — With less than two months until the 3rd annual meeting of the nation’s bird hunting preserves, the North American Gamebird Association is launching two promotions to encourage more attendance. The NAGA created its Hunting Club Conference in 2022 to expand the unified network of gamebird businesses, which is vital to protect the future of hunt clubs across the country. Attendees hear from industry experts addressing the most pressing challenges facing the gamebird industry, such as anti-hunting attacks, a tight bird market, profitability, avian influenza, ammo shortages and more.
While the Conference has grown larger each year, NAGA is now offering incentives to spur additional registrations for the event, which will be held July 15-17 at the Best Western Ramkota in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
First-Time Attendee Scholarship
NAGA offers a chance for a first-time attendee to win a scholarship to cover the event’s cost. Anyone who registers for the Conference (for the first time) before July 1 will automatically be entered in the drawing for the scholarship. The scholarship is a significant opportunity. It covers the cost of registration, three nights of lodging and meals during the Conference – an approximate $800 value!
But the benefits continue beyond that. Every person who attends the Conference who isn’t already a member of the North American Gamebird Association gets a one-year membership to the association!
Membership comes with a year’s subscription to NAGA News (our award-winning bi-monthly magazine) and access to exclusive member content on our website. Most importantly, you’ll have a front-row seat to see how much the association does to fight and protect the gamebird industry. You’ll have access to suppliers who want to work with you and sponsors who support the industry.
Mossberg Early Bird Promotion
O.F. Mossberg & Sons, makers of American-made firearms for more than 100 years, is sponsoring the Mossberg Early Bird Promotion for the event. Anyone (not just first-timers) registered for the Conference by the close of business on Tuesday, June 25, will be eligible to win.
The prize, a Mossberg 940 Pro Field semi-auto 12-gauge, will be drawn at the welcome dinner on the opening night of the Conference on Monday, July 15.
Additionally, more than 15 vendors will be available to visit with and purchase from during the event – a record-setting number since the Conference started in 2022.
If you own, manage or work at a hunting club or preserve, we hope you’ll join us in South Dakota!

About the Hunting Club Conference:
The North American Gamebird Association’s Hunting Club Conference was created in 2022 to provide a platform for hunting preserves to gather, exchange ideas, learn business-saving information and network with fellow gamebird businesses. The conference agenda comes directly from feedback from hunting clubs through a committee of hunting preserve owners, operators and employees.
