Hunting apparel brand aims to poke fun and support conservation

Oconomowoc – Wisconsin-based outdoor apparel company, Okayest Hunter, hopes to promote and

support land conservation, while having a sense of humor. The company is launching digital ecommerce

st platforms hunting apparel on June 1 .

“I’ve been calling myself the okayest hunter for years now and we’ve always gotten a chuckle out of it,” says Brand Co-Founder Eric Clark, “The truth is most of us are really just ok hunters and we should all embrace it.”

Clark, host of the popular weekly Where to Hunt Podcast came up with the idea for an outdoor apparel brand that lets hunters flaunt a sense of humor and support conservation same time. “Those are two things we’re consistently doing on the podcast, and one day we thought an apparel brand featuring would be something our listeners and other hunters would embrace.”

The ecommerce site affiliated with the Where to Hunt brand will officially launch on June 1st at okayesthunter.com. The website sells shirts and hats with antler logos and will expand into other categories of outdoor apparel in the coming months, likely and “Okayest Fisher” brand, too. The ecommerce website also displays the mission of the new apparel company right on the front page. “It’s not about the most miles hiked, the biggest buck or the latest gear. We believe hunting is about having fun and making everlasting memories.”

Okayest Hunter hopes to make a difference in land conservation by selling its products to like-minded hunters. That’s one of the primary reasons we do all of this in the first place,” said Clark. We believe land conservation is important because it’s where we make all these memories, and spend time pursuing our passions. We believe protecting these public lands we recreate, and hunt is closely related to our mission.

For every 10 dollars raised by Okayest Hunter, 1 dollar will go to 2% For Conservation, a non-profit organization that works to preserve hunting and angling heritage and promotes proper science-based conservation of fish, wildlife, and their habitats.
