MIDWAYUSA FOUNDATION HOSTS ANNUAL HOMETOWN CHALLENGE SWEEPSTAKES

olumbia, MO – MidwayUSA Foundation has officially launched its annual Hometown Challenge, a month-long sweepstakes and fundraising competition designed to support youth shooting sports teams across the nation throughout September.  Donations of $20 or more, made between September 1-30 to a MidwayUSA Foundation youth shooting team endowment, will not only be matched but will also qualify for an entry into a 100-prize sweepstakes.   The prizes, including coolers, firearms, outdoor gear, gift cards, and more, are made possible by the continued generosity of industry sponsors.

In addition to individual sweepstakes prizes to reward donors, MidwayUSA Foundation’s Hometown Challenge drives friendly competition among youth programs by offering significant endowment awards. The top five fundraising teams at the end of September will earn dollars for their endowment, with the top team receiving $15,000.  An additional 30 participating teams that receive at least one donation will be randomly selected to win $1,000 each.

Hometown Challenge sponsors include Title Sponsor SK Guns, offering participants the chance to win the Michelangelo .45 ACP, as well as Ruger, Big Frig, Barepelt, Glock, Hodgdon, Savage, Walkers, and many more.   These companies offer donors the chance to win prizes, including a Volquartsen Black Mamba, Glock pistols, Longshot cameras, product vouchers, Savage rifles, a GAIM system, and a pile of additional prizes that can be found on MidwayUSA Foundation’s website.    The value of prizes offered through the Hometown Challenge Sweepstakes is over $30,000.  Every $20 contribution qualifies as an entry, which is a tax-deductible donation, and multiple entries are encouraged.  Hometown Challenge runs through September, and donations can be made right through the team’s page on the MidwayUSA Foundation website.
