NDA Launches “Coffee & Deer” Podcast

The National Deer Association (NDA) is excited to announce the launch of a second podcast produced and hosted by the NDA staff. NDA’s “Coffee & Deer” will focus on hunting heritage and conservation issues, complementing NDA’s “Deer Season 365” podcast that digs into the details of deer hunting. NDA’s Coffee & Deer is available on Apple Podcasts, iHeart Radio, Pandora, Spotify, Stitcher and wherever you listen to podcasts.

“Coffee & Deer” is hosted by NDA President and CEO Nick Pinizzotto and his long-time hunting buddy and friend Mike Groman. Nick and Mike are typically joined by expert guests — from NDA staff to outdoor writers to policymakers — to share hunting stories and discuss important conservation issues impacting deer and deer hunting.

“We’re not all habitat work all the time here at NDA. We know the importance of enjoying the fruits of your labor and that’s the primary focus of the Coffee and Deer podcast,” said Pinizzotto. “We hope you’ll join us for a fun and informative discussion over coffee about all things deer.”

he first episode of “Coffee & Deer” is now live, and new episodes will be posted bi-weekly, alternating with episodes of “Deer Season 365.”

“Achieving NDA’s conservation mission for wild deer requires some deeper, more thoughtful discussion than what to plan in your food plot or how to outsmart a mature deer,” said Lindsay Thomas Jr., NDA’s Chief Communications Officer. “Nick and Mike are going to bring deer hunters into those discussions so they can engage with our mission and help achieve it. Their show will really round out our deer media platforms.”
