HEVI-Shot launches six new 100-count boxes of their popular HEVI-Steel and HEVI-Hammer waterfowl loads. This new product line is now available at select dealers and online. Check with your local ammo store for availability.
“This new packaging option answers a request for bulk packaging from many of our diehard customers,” said Scott Turner, HEVI-Shot Shotshell Product Line Manager. “The 100-packs take two of our popular loads targeting ducks and geese, HEVI-Steel and HEVI-Hammer in shot sizes 2 or 3, and make it easier for hunters to buy in larger volumes and pack it into their boats and blinds quickly and easily.”
HEVI-Steel all-steel shotshells push their payloads at higher velocities than competing loads. That speed boost delivers more energy downrange and makes it easier to connect on ducks and geese. With a best-in-class wad, HEVI-Steel provides more knockdown power, denser patterns at close distances, and more energy at longer ranges. The 100-packs are available in two 12-gauge options and two 20-gauge options.
HEVI-Hammer combines the power of bismuth with the economy of steel to take home more ducks and geese. Fifteen percent of the payload consists of 9.6 g/cc HEVI-Bismuth pellets layered over the remaining 85 percent steel shot to extend the effective range and tighten patterns. HEVI-Bismuth delivers 38 percent more lethal range over steel with No. 2 and 3 shot, and 41 percent more with No. 4. The 100-packs are available in two 12-gauge options.
