Partnership Will Create Two Films About GoWild Community Members Erin Crooks and Lyn and Lacey Hoffman
Blood Origins has reached hundreds of thousands of hunters with its emotional storytelling. The organization is now partnering with one of hunting’s hottest social media platforms to reach a new audience, and share about what keeps so many hunters in pursuit—community.
GoWild is a social media platform for hunters, anglers and outdoor enthusiasts. The platform has thousands of hunters sharing tales, and together with Blood Origins, the organization hopes to highlight a hunting story often untold—one of failures, challenges and community.
“We see these tales shared every single day on GoWild, and we want to take that effort beyond the walls of our platform,” said GoWild Cofounder, CEO, Brad Luttrell. “What the Blood Origins team is doing is special. This content shares not only the story of ‘what we hunt’ but also ‘why we hunt’ which is something every hunter can do a better job of doing. In my first conversations with Robbie, the founder of Blood Origins, I knew this was something we had a duty to do.”
The content will feature three GoWild members. The first is Erin Crooks, the Founder of Raise ‘Em Outdoors, a national camp that teaches kids to shoot, hunt and fish. The second film will feature Alaskan hunters and husband and wife duo, Lyn and Lacey Hoffman.
“Our films are less about filling record books and more about filling our hearts, minds and souls,” said Robbie Kröger, the founder of Blood Origins. “A partnership with GoWild gives us the chance to not only share new stories around these themes, but to also tap into a new distribution channel.”
Blood Origins films are currently circulated via their website, YouTube and Facebook. With the partnership, GoWild becomes a new distribution channel.
